I have decided to include some details from the fifth book, not may and not yet, but there will be certain aspects of the book included.

I want to thank Phoenix Angel for betaing the chapter and giving me some very good insights, I tried to follow some of them, though in the end I barely made the changes since the muses have not been all that kind to me this time, as well as real life.

I wanted to have the chapter out before the end of the year, so regardless of inspiration here it is. There is a great possibility that I might change some parts of the chapter before I post the next (which by the way is done, and only needs some minor corrections and betaing). If I do I’ll inform you so you can re-read the chapter so the next makes sense.

Author Note: When I started writing this story, book five was not yet out. I have decided to include some details from the fifth book, not many and not yet, but there will be certain aspects of the book included. Only one thing I have not commented on the later chapters, this is not going to be slash. I’m not sure I can pull it off, although I have a couple of ideas for future fics where I might try to write it.

Thanks to my beta Phoenix Angel, for checking the chapters. When I asked her she told me she found both Severus and Petunia OOC, I actually did too, but was not sure. I did some corrections, and hope they are more in character.

Still, you will find that Petunia is WAY to OOC, but that was on purpose. I’ve always thought she was quite bad, and would do just about anything to show Harry the differences between being her son and being her ‘unwanted’ nephew. So I’ll be portraying her as quite abusive, and a bit more disgusted by wizards. Based on the supposition that her sister was greatly favored by her parents because of her magical abilities.

Summary: Response to the Potions and Fic Fest Challenge # 5 by Bil. Although I’m not sure it is completely compliant. I tried though.

Harry gets up one morning and begins to make breakfast (for the Dursleys, if that’s where he is). Hearing a noise at the door he cautiously goes to investigate - to find a battered Snape collapsed on the front doorstep. What happened to Snape, why is he in Harry’s neighborhood and what in Merlin’s name is Harry going to do with him?

Notes: This one is the longest chapter yet; hope you enjoy it, as there is a lot of dialog in this one. Be warned they are EXTREMELY OOC.

I’ve read most of these fics, it does not necessarily mean that I liked them, or even finished them but at least I did start them. I will be looking for more stories with over 1,000 reviews, and those I did not read (almost anything Harry/Ginny, Harry/Voldemort, Harry/Sirius, and Harry/Lucius) I will mark them as not read. The number of revies will change with time, and I’ll try to keep the list updated.

Warnings: AU, Some characters may be a bit OOC. Violence, the mention of drug use, attempted rape, and bad language. The characters are OOC. This story will live up to the M rating as I plan to add a bit more violence and/or gory details. I believe the original version was a bit mild in that respect. I knew that later on there would be some rather gory scenes as telosphilos and I originally planned, so I decided that adding a bit more description to certain scenes would only enhance the story. This warning will be in every chapter to avoid problems even though not all have violence or gory scenes.
Summary: Inuyasha discovers the present is more dangerous than he was led to believe.
Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha. Although I’ll probably add a couple more characters of my own imagination.
